Mother-child Radio Shuttle Racking

The Mother-Child Radio Shuttle Racking is a system where, at the front end of each level of a standard shuttle pallet racking system, a vertical track is installed perpendicular to the aisle. A shuttle vehicle shuttles back and forth along this track, allowing child shuttles to enter. These child shuttles serve two purposes: first, to transport pallet goods to the shuttle vehicle, and second, to enable immediate charging on the shuttle vehicle. This shuttle vehicle is referred to as the mother vehicle. The mother vehicle can transport goods out, passing them to lifts or conveyors. Additionally, the mother vehicle can transfer child shuttles to different aisles.

Advantages:

√ Maximized Space: Efficiently utilizes vertical storage space with vertical tracks on each level.
√ Efficient Handling: Shuttle vehicles move swiftly along tracks, speeding up pallet movement.
√ Quick Charging: Child shuttles enable immediate charging on the shuttle vehicle, reducing downtime.
√ Versatile Transport: The mother vehicle can transfer goods to lifts or conveyors, providing flexible transport options.
√ Flexible Layout: The system allows for easy transfer of child shuttles to different aisles, adapting to changing warehouse needs.
